If you want to play State of Decay 2 early, starting on May 18, you will have to buy the Ultimate Edition, which includes a code for four days early access, as well as a variety of DLC packs. Subscribers will then be able to download it to their console or PC and play until they cancel their subscription to the service. State of Decay 2 will be available on Game Pass on May 22. However, with there being a couple of different editions of the game at launch, it’s not immediately clear when the Game Pass release date is. You can either pick the game up digitally or physically for a single price, or sign up to Game Pass to play it while you’re a subscriber.
